RANGPUR, Nov 29, 2025 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a man and seized 199 bottles of phensedyl-like drug CHOCO+ from Uttar Batrishajari village under Kaliganj Police Station of Lalmonirhat district on Friday evening.
The arrested is Md Shariful Alam, 40, son of late Md Alauddin of Uttar Batrishajari village.
Acting on a tip-off, an operational team of RAB-13 Sadar Company conducted a raid in the village and arrested the man with the huge contraband drug CHOCO+ from his house at 5.30 pm, a press release said here today.
During primary interrogation, the detainee admitted that he had been dealing in Phensedyl-like drug CHOCO+ very skillfully for a long time.
After filing a case in this connection, the elite force handed over the arrested person and the seized drugs to Kaliganj Police Station in Lalmonirhat for taking further legal action.
