KHULNA, Nov 30, 2025 (BSS) - BNP central student affairs secretary and party nominee for the Khulna-3 constituency, Rokibul Islam Bakul, prayed for the quick recovery of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia

Speaking at a educational materials and prizes distribution event organised by the Professionals' Forum in Daulatpur on Saturday evening, Bakul opened his remarks by highlighting the critical health condition of Khaleda Zia.

He said the former premier, who led the nation for three terms and dedicated the best years of her life to the people, is now battling for survival.

"We pray to Almighty Allah for her swift recovery," he said, adding that the entire nation is hoping for her wellbeing and recalling her uncompromising struggle for democracy.

During the event, Bakul also underscored the need for a job-oriented and production-focused education system in line with the state reform outline announced by BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.
