NARSINGDI, Dec 5, 2025 (BSS) - A team of Detective Branch (DB) of Police here 
arrested two fraudsters with 54,000 fake notes from North Satirpara area 
under Narsingdi Model Police Station on Thursday.

The arrested are Md Murad Hossain, 35, and Sumaiya Akhter Sonia, 30, of the 
district, according to Narsingdi police.

The team led by Sub-Inspector (SI) Md Jamirul Islam along with other 
officials conducted an operation at North Satirpara area at about 7:30pm 
yesterday and arrested them with the fake notes.

A case was filed with Narsingdi Model Police Station in this regard, the 
sources added.
