Bismillah Enterprise of karnaphuphuli area in Gtg fined Tk. 45,000

CHATTOGRAM, January 5, 2026 (BSS) - A mobile court today fined a gas seller of Taka 45000 for selling gas at higher prices at Karnaphuli area in the city.

During a drive conducted in  Fakinnirhat, College Bazar, Shineertek, and Mojjartek areas of Karnaphuli on Monday afternoon, the court led By  assistant commissioner (Land) Md. Al Amin Hossain ordered for the fine.

Throughout the operation, the Karnaphuli police provided complete cooperation. The assistant commissioner said   Messrs. Bismillah Enterprises has been charging an inflated price for gas and its owner was fined.

 Furthermore, all gas retailers in the area have been instructed to adhere to the government-mandated pricing and to contain the over pricing, such operations will be conducted regularly, he added.
