RBLP central office inaugurated in Rangpur city

RANGPUR, Jan 12, 2026 (BSS) - The central office of Rangpur Bibhagiyo Lekhok Parishad (RBLP-Rangpur Divisional Writers Council), a renowned literary organization in the northern region, has been inaugurated in the city. 

The temporary office of the council was inaugurated in the city's New Engineer Para area on Sunday evening with prayers and other formalities. 

Cultural personality Kazi Md Junnun, president of the central committee of RBLP, presided over the function. 

Superintendent of Police of Highway Police, Rangpur Region ATM Shamsur Rahman, RBLP's advisers Professor Mohammad Shah Alam, Principal Khandaker Fakhrul Anam Benju, founding President Muhammad Maqbul Hossain Sumon, SM Khalil Babu, Abid Karim Munna and others were present as guests of honor on the occasion. 

The speakers at the event highly appreciated the literary and cultural activities of RBLP and wished for its prosperity. 

Among others, RBLP's vice-president Rashidul Islam Chowdhury, general secretary Zakir Ahmed, joint general secretary Shariful Alam Apu, literature and publication secretary Majnur Rahman, joint organizing secretary Deepak Sarkar Topu, Rangpur district unit president ATM Morshed, general secretary Shamsuzzaman Sohag, Gaibandha district unit general secretary Hafizul Hilali Babu, Rangpur Sahitya Sanskriti Parishad general secretary Mamunur Rashid, Mohit Mithu, Muidul Islam, Syeda Kamrunnahar Lipi, Lipika Lipi, Moyna Moni, Nahida Yasmin, Shikha Rani Sarkar, Nusrat Upma Sufi Zahid Hossain, Sirajul Islam, Morshedul Islam, Lina Rahman, Momtazur Rahman Babu, Abdur Rashid, Mahmud Nasir, were present.
