MUNSHIGANJ, Jan 12, 2026 (BSS)- Mir Bashir Uddin Jewel, president of Munshiganj Press Club, died of a heart attack while undergoing treatment at National Institute of Cardio Vascular Diseases in Dhaka in the early hours of today.
He was 56.
His first Namaz-e-Janaza was held at Jame Mosque in the town.
BNP central committee Social Welfare Secretary and BNP candidate in the next polls Md Kamruzzaman and locals took part in the janaza.
He was laid to eternal rest at his village graveyard after second janaza at Baherpara in Tongibari upazila of the district.
