TRC passing out parade held at Sarda

RAJSHAHI, Feb 3, 2026 (BSS) - The passing out parade of the 169th Trainee Recruit Constable (TRC) batch was held today at the Bangladesh Police Academy (BPA) parade ground in Sarda, Rajshahi.

BPA Principal Tawfik Mahbub Chowdhury attended the ceremony as the chief guest and called upon the newly recruited constables to serve the people with dedication.

He called upon the TRCs to apply the knowledge they have gained at the police academy and to perform their duties in the field with dedication and honesty. 

He also advised them to continually enrich themselves through regular practice, pursuit of knowledge, and learning from real-life experiences.

Congratulating all the trainees on stepping into their new professional lives, Tawfik Mahbub said that the successful completion of the four-month basic training, which began on 6 October 2025, has been achieved today.

He expressed his belief that the legal knowledge and various policing techniques acquired at the Bangladesh Police Academy would make their future professional lives successful.

The chief guest said that under the motto “Quality Training, Best Service,” the Bangladesh Police Academy conducts its training programs with utmost sincerity and efficiency. 

At the beginning of the ceremony, the chief guest took the salute and inspected the parade. 

Later, he distributed awards and certificates among the trainee constables who achieved excellence in various aspects of the training.

Senior police officials, military and civilian officers and staff, guardians of the TRCs, local dignitaries, and members of the media were present at the event.
