MOSCOW, March 10, 2025 (BSS/TASS) - A diplomat from the British Embassy in Moscow has been summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry in connection with the revocation of accreditation over indications of intelligence activities, the ministry said in a statement.

"A representative from the British embassy in Moscow has been summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry in connection with the revocation of accreditation over indications of intelligence activities," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement posted on the Telegram channel.

The second secretary of the British Embassy in Moscow and the spouse of another British diplomat have been stripped their Russian accreditation for providing false information about themselves and showing signs of engaging in intelligence and subversive activities, an FSB spokesperson told TASS. They were ordered to leave Russia within two weeks.
