Bangladesh, China looks cooperation between Ctg, Yunnan

DHAKA, April 20, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh and China today renewed their pledges to open up new avenues of cooperation connecting Yunnan Province and Chattogram in various sectors. 

The discussion was taken place when visiting Governor of Chinese Yunnan Province Wang Yubo met with the Foreign Adviser Md. Touhid Hossain at the State Guest House Padma in the capital, said a foreign ministry’s press release here. 

During the meeting, they observed that Bangladesh port city and the Yunnan province can cooperate in trade, medical, tourism and people to people connectivity. 

The both side also reviewed the bilateral relation between China and Bangladesh. 

They also expressed their hope that the existing bilateral relations between the two nations would be further strengthened in the days to come.
