Belarusian leader leaves for official visit to Russia

MINSK, March 13, 2025 (BSS/TASS) - Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has departed for Moscow on an official visit, the state-run BelTA news agency reported.

On Thursday, Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko will hold talks in the Kremlin. The two leaders will discuss the countries' cooperation and promising areas of collaboration in the one-on-one format, then with the participation of members of the delegations. They will also address joint work in integration formats and exchange opinions on the current international situation.

The parties are expected to sign a set of documents as a result of the talks.

The program of the Belarusian president's visit includes a number of other events required by its official status.
