Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff departs from Qatar

MOSCOW, March 13, 2025 (BSS/TASS) - The aircraft carrying US Presidential Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, who is scheduled to visit Russia this week, has departed from Qatar, according to data from the Flightradar tracking service.

The Gulfstream G650 aircraft took off from Hamad International Airport in Doha and, as of 09:55 Moscow time, was flying over the Romanian capital, Bucharest, en route to Hungary.

No information has been disclosed regarding the aircraft's precise flight path.

On March 12, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated that Witkoff would travel to Moscow this week to engage in discussions concerning the resolution of the conflict in Ukraine.
