Zelensky calls for immediate ceasefire as envoys gather in London

KYIV, Ukraine, April 23, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called Wednesday for an "immediate, full, and unconditional ceasefire", as his top aide, foreign and defence ministers met Kyiv's allies in London.

"In Ukraine, we insist on an immediate, full, and unconditional ceasefire," Zelensky said on social media, adding that "stopping the killings is the number one task".
