CARACAS, June 5, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - Venezuela warned its citizens Wednesday that travelling to the United States would amount to taking a "great risk" after new restrictions announced by the White House.

"Being in the United States is a great risk for anyone, not just for Venezuelans," Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello said after Washington announced a new travel ban on people from 12 countries, as well as partial restrictions on seven more countries including Venezuela.
