Russia, Ukraine to exchange 'severely wounded' POWs Thursday: Moscow

  MOSCOW, June 11, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - Russia and Ukraine will exchange severely wounded soldiers on Thursday, Moscow said, the latest stage of a large-scale agreement to free more than 1,000 prisoners of war by each side.

   "Tomorrow, we will begin urgent 'sanitary exchanges' of severely wounded prisoners," Russia's top negotiator Vladimir Medinsky said in a post on social media, adding that Ukraine had handed back the bodies of 27 killed Russian soldiers.
