Israel army warns of new missile salvo from Iran

JERUSALEM, June 16, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - Israel's military warned Monday that it had detected a new missile salvo from Iran, saying its defensive systems were working against the threat.

"A short while ago, the IDF identified missiles launched from Iran toward the territory of the State of Israel," the army said on Telegram, using the acronym for its official name, adding the public was "instructed to enter a protected space and remain there until further notice".
