Fire erupts at strike-damaged Iran state TV HQ: broadcaster

TEHRAN, June 17, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - A fire broke out on Tuesday at the 
headquarters of Iranian state television in Tehran, the broadcaster said, a 
day after an Israeli strike severely damaged one of the buildings and killed 
three people.

"The smoke seen in the Iranian radio and television building is due to a fire 
that reignited due to the wind," the broadcaster said. An AFP journalist 
nearby saw a plume of white smoke.
