Blast heard in north Tehran, main road partially closed: AFP

TEHRAN, June 18, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - A new explosion was heard in northern 
Tehran, an AFP journalist said, adding that a main thoroughfare had been 
partially closed.

The blast followed a series of other explosions heard in the eastern quarters 
of the city. The renowned Valiasr Street that cuts from north to south was 
also partially closed, the journalist said.
