EU appeals for calm as deadly protests rock Morocco

BRUSSELS, Belgium, Oct 3, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - The European Union on Friday called on "all parties" to "keep calm" in Morocco, which has been rocked by anti-corruption protests in which three people have been killed.

"We recognise the importance of youth participation in public life and call on all parties involved to keep calm," EU foreign affairs spokesman Anouar El Anouni told reporters in Brussels.
