Classes to resume in secondary schools, colleges from April 28

DHAKA, April 25, 2024 (BSS) – The Ministry of Education has decided to reopen secondary schools, colleges, madrasahs, and technical educational institutions from April 28.

Secondary and Higher Education Division of the ministry issued a notification today to this end.

It said daily assemblies will remain suspended until the heat wave becomes tolerable.

Academic activities will be held on every Saturday until further notice to make up the loss of lessons caused by closure of the institutions due to heat wave and other reasons.

Academic activities which are performed outside of classrooms will remain limited.
