DHAKA, Aug 4, 2024 (BSS) - The government has announced a three-day general holiday

on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for ensuring public safety.

"A three-day general holiday on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday has been announced,"

Public administration minister Farhad Hossain told BSS yesterday afternoon.

Earlier, curfew was imposed for an indefinite period from 6 pm yesterday in Dhaka

Metropolitan area and all divisional headquarters, city corporations,

municipalities, industrial areas and district and upazila headquarters.
