Mongla BNP stages sit-in programme demanding Hasina's trial

MONGLA, Aug 15, 2024 (BSS) - Mongla upazila unit of BNP today brought out a protest procession and staged sit-in programme in front of municipality market of the upazila for condemning the killing of student-people and demanded trial of all, including Sheikh Hasina, involved in the mass killing during recent uprising.

As part of the BNP's central programme, the leaders and activists of Mongla upazila and Poura BNP and its associate bodies brought out procession rally and staged the programme since Thursday morning.

BNP leader Abu Hossain Poni led the programme and Poura BNP Convener Md. Julfikar Ali, BNP leaders Emran Hossain, Mahabubur Rahaman Manik, Babul Hossain Rony and other local leaders, among others, were present.
