DHAKA, Feb 26, 2025 (BSS) - Coordinators of the Anti Discrimination Student Movement (ADSM) today officially launched a new student organisation named ‘Bangladesh Gonotantrik Chhatra Sangsad’.

ADSM coordinator Abu Baker Majumder and ADSM former office Secretary Zahid Ahsan has been made convener and member secretary of the student body, launched today at a press conference at Madhu’s canteen on Dhaka University campus.

The central committee also includes Touhid Mohammad Siam as senior joint convener, Rifat Rashid as senior member secretary, Tahmid Al Muddassir Chowdhury as chief organiser, and Ashrefa Khatun as spokesperson.

The new student body also announced it’s convening committee for Dhaka University unit with Abdul Kader as convener and Mohir Alam as member secretary.

The DU unit committee also include Limon Mahmud Hasan as senior joint convener, Al Amin Sarkar as senior member secretary, Hasib Al Islam as chief organiser, and Rafia Rehnuma Hridi as spokesperson.
