DHAKA, Aug 10, 2025 (BSS) - The National Consensus Commission has started discussions with experts to ensure the legal binding of July National Charter and find ways to implement the charter. 

The commission held a discussion with law and constitutional experts at the LD Hall of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban here today. 

Consensus Commission Vice-Chairman Professor Dr. Ali Riaz, Members Justice Md. Emdadul Haque, Dr. Iftekharuzzaman, Dr. Badiul Alam Majumder, Safar Raj Hossain and Dr. Md. Ayub Mia and Chief Adviser’s Special Assistant Manir Haider were present at the time.

Retired Supreme Court Justice MA Matin, Justice Mainul Islam Chowdhury, Dean of the Faculty of Law of Dhaka University Mohammad Ikramul Haque, Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court Dr. Sharif Bhuiyan, Barrister Tanim Hossain Shawon and Barrister Imran Siddique participated as experts.
