Palak pays homage to Bangabandhu at Dhanmondi

DHAKA, Jan 12, 2024 (BSS) - Newly appointed state minister for post, telecommunication and information technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak today paid homage to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
 
He paid tribute to Bangabandhu by placing a wreath at his portrait in front of Bangabandhu Bhaban at Dhanmondi here.
 
Later, he also paid homage to the martyrs of the Liberation War and placed a wreath at the altar of the National Memorial, Savar.
 
Expressing deep gratitude to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Palak said, "Thank you the Honorable Prime Minister for assigning me three times as the state minister at a young age. I want to uphold her dignity by carrying out this trust with honesty and devotion."

After taking charge of the ICT division, over 18,000 government offices across the country were brought under a dedicated high speed internet. The world's largest web portal consisting of 25,000 government websites was established under the Prime Minister's Information and Communication Technology advisor Sajeed Wazed Joy's time befitting leadership.
