DHAKA, March 10, 2024 (BSS) - Principal Information Officer (PIO) Md Shahinoor Miah today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Prime Minister's Press Secretary, prominent journalist and 1971 Liberation War veteran Ihsanul Karim Helal.

In a message of condolence, he prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.

Ihsanul Karim, former Managing Director and Chief Editor of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS), breathed his last around 8.00 pm at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) where he was under life-support with multiple-organ complications.

He was 73.
