RU signs MoU with Japanese university

RAJSHAHI, March 14, 2024 (BSS) - Rajshahi University (RU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tokushima University in Japan here today aimed at boosting bilateral relations related to academic and research between the two universities.

RU Vice-chancellor Prof Golam Sabbir Sattar and President of Tokushima University Kaoamura Yasuhiko signed the accord on behalf of their respective sides.

Under the agreement, both the university can exchange and share researchers, students and academic information and carry out joint research.
 
Earlier in November, 2022, Prof Tamtasu Tanaka from Tokushima University visited RU and made a courtesy call with RU VC Prof Golam Sabbir.

In the meeting, Prof Tamtasu Tanaka expressed interests on joint research and exchange of teachers and researchers.

Since then, chairman of Biochemistry and Microbiology Prof Tanjima Yeasmin has played a pioneering role towards signing the MoU.
