BOGURA, April 13, 2024 (BSS) - State Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak today said that proposed 'Sheikh Kamal IT Training and Incubation Centre' and 'Joy Smart D-Training Centre' in the district will create thousands of employment for youths.

"The Sheikh Kamal IT Training and Incubation Centre is awaiting for approval in the next Executive Committee of National Economic Council (ECNEC) while construction work of Joy Smart D-Training Centre will begin in next six months," he said.
 
The state minister was talking to reporters after visiting sites of the two proposed projects here.

Along with the promise of building a science and technology university and a high-tech park in Bogura as well as constructing Bogura-Sirajganj rail line, Palak said, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is also going to present Sheikh Kamal IT Training and Incubation Centre and Joy Smart D-Training Centre to the people of Bogura.

Once the centres are constructed, these will play a vital role in reducing the employment crisis in the district.
 
Lawmaker from Bogura-6 constituency Ragebul Ahsan Ripu, Bogura Deputy Commissioner (DC) Md Saiful Islam, Sadar Upazila Chairman Abu Sufian Safiq and Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Firoza Parveen were present on the occasion, among others.
