minorities and physically challenged, need empowerment.

So, objective and sensible reporting in various print and electronic media
and news agencies is very important and the journalists should be sensitized
on the issue.

The BPC Chairman came up with the observation while addressing a workshop
titled "Role of Journalists towards publishing sensible news for the
marginalized people" here today as chief guest.

Bangladesh Legal Aid and Services Trust (BLAST) organized the workshop at
Kabab House supported by its 'Empowerment of Disadvantaged Communities and
the activation to the process of Bangladesh's Development' project.

workshop was addressed, among others, by Director (Advocacy and
Communication) Mahbuba Akter, Editor of Daily Sonar Desh Akbarul Hassan
Millat, BLAST local unit coordinator Advocate Samina Begum and former
