3 new judges of Appellate Division pay tributes to Bangabandhu at Tungipara

TUNGIPARA, Gopalganj, May 2, 2024 (BSS) – Three newly appointed judges of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court - Justice Muhammad Abdul Hafiz, Justice Md Shahinur Islam and Justice Kashefa Hussain - today paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing a wreath at his mausoleum at Tungipara in Gopalganj. 

After laying the wreath, they stood in solemn silence for some time as a mark of profound respect to the memory of the Father of the Nation. 


Later, they offered prayer for eternal peace of the departed souls of Bangabandhu and other martyrs who had to embrace martyrdom on the fateful August 15, 1975. 


A special prayer was also offered seeking longevity of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her family members. 


They also signed the visitors' book at the administrative building of Bangabandhu Mausoleum. 


Research and Reference Officer of Appellate Division and Joint District Judges ABM Ashraful Haque, Millat Hossain, Noreen Akhter, Gopalganj Senior Assistant Judge Shafiqul Islam and Tungipara Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md Moinul Haque, among others, were present.
