Leftist parties bring out rally in city

DHAKA, August 6, 2024 (BSS) - The leftist parties brought out a procession
and held a rally in the city's Purana Paltan area this afternoon for
formation of the country's interim government.

They have demanded to hold discussion with all political parties in the
country. They also urged all to protect the countrymen and their assets as
well as to resist the miscreants.

Coordinator of Bam Gonotantrik Jote and Basod General Secretary Bazlur Rashid
Firoz presided over the rally while CPB General Secretary Ruhin Hossain
Prince, Bangladesh Jasod standing committee member Dr. Mustak Hossain and Bam
Morcha leader Belal Chowdhury, among others, spoke at the meeting.

Communist Party of Bangladesh President Shah Alam, Bangladesh Jatiya
Samajtantrik Dal President Sharif Nurul Ambia, BASOD Assistant General
Secretary Rajekuzzaman Raton, Biplobi Communist League General Secretary
Iqbal Karim Zahid, Ganatantrik Biplabi Party General Secretary Mosrefa Meeshu
and Samyabadi Andolon Coordinator Suvransu Chakraborty, among others, were
present.
