AL leader Ahmed, Sohail remanded for 4 days

DHAKA, Aug 21, 2024, (BSS) - A Dhaka court today granted four-day remand 
each, to Awami League organizing secretary Ahmad Hossain and Rear Admiral 
Mohammad Sohail in Jubo Dal leader Nabin Talukder murder case, filed with 
Paltan Thana.

As they were produced before the court today, the investigating officer of 
the case applied for a ten-day remand for both of them, for the sake of 
proper investigation.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Jasim accepted the plea and passed the 
order.

Earlier on Tuesday night, Ahmad Hossain was arrested from Gulshan in the 
capital and Sohail, who was sent to mandatory retirement from the Navy, from 
Banani area.
