NILPHAMARI, Feb 5, 2025 (BSS) - Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in a drive seized heroin and cocaine worth Taka 62.5 lakh from Darwani Textile Mill area in Sadar upazila here today.

On a tip-off, a team of BGB-56 Battalion, Nilphamari conducted a drive in the area this afternoon and recovered the narcotics after searching a bus of Bismillah Paribahan, said Acting Commander of the battalion Major Riyad Morshed at a press conference.

The team recovered 970 grams of heroin and 860 grams of cocaine from the bus without owner.
