Tarique Rahman expresses condolences to families affected by Karail slum fire

DHAKA, Nov 26, 2025 (BSS) - BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the families affected by the devastating fire that swept through the city's Karail slum in the Mohakhali area and nearby localities.

In a post on his verified Facebook page, he wrote, "I express my deepest sympathies to the families affected by this dangerous fire. I strongly hope they will show patience and resilience during this difficult time."

He added that he hopes the spread of the "horrific" blaze will be brought under control swiftly and prayed that no lives would be lost.

Tarique Rahman also said the BNP stands in full solidarity with the firefighters and local residents who are working tirelessly to douse the flames.
