Use minimum force to maintain law and order in adverse situation: DMP Com

DHAKA, Feb10, 2025 (BSS) - Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner SM Sazzat Ali today called upon all concerned to use minimum force to maintain the law and order in any emergency situation.

"We're not the British police. We're the people's police. Therefore, we have to learn various techniques of using minimum force to maintain the law and order in any emergency situation," he said

He made the remarks while inspecting three-day training on Public Order Management that started on Sunday at the Rajarbagh Police Lines here.

The DMP chief spoke to the trainees and trainers and gave them necessary guidance and instruction on how to use the training in practical life.

A total of 150 police personnel from various units of the DMP are taking part in the training.

Various sessions were held in the second day training on the techniques of using minimum force to deal with the adverse situations.

Senior officers of various ranks of Police Headquarters and DMP were present on the adverse situation.
