Bangladesh, Vietnam discuss direct flight operations

DHAKA, Feb 11, 2025 (BSS) – Bangladesh and Vietnam today discuss on establishing air connectivity through introducing direct flight between Dhaka and Hanoi.  

The discussion was taken place when Vietnam Ambassador to Bangladesh Nguyen Manh Cuong met with Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) Chairman Air Vice-Marshal Md Monjur Kabir Bhuiyan at the CAAB headquarters in the capital.

During the meeting, they also discussed about establishing a ground service agreement and enhancing aviation cooperation, said a press release here.  

The two sides also talked about ways to further expand mutual collaboration in the aviation sector.

The representatives from the Vietnamese Embassy and Vietnam Airlines were also present on the occasion.
