Pakistan’s HC visits Jamaat office, meets its Ameer

DHAKA, Feb 11, 2025 (BSS) – Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Bangladesh Syed Ahmed Maroof has visited the central office of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami in the city’s Moghbazar area on Tuesday afternoon when he met with the Ameer of the party Dr. Shafiqur Rahman.  

During the meeting, they exchanged views on issues of mutual interest concerning Bangladesh and Pakistan. They also expressed their optimism that the fraternal relations between the two countries would continue to strengthen in the days to come.  

Pakistan’s Deputy High Commissioner Muhammad Wasif, Political Counselor Kamran Dhangal, Jamaat Nayeb-e-Ameer Prof. Mujibur Rahman, Dr. Syed Abdullah Muhammad Taher and Maulana A.N.M. Shamsul Islam, Jamaat Secretary General Prof. Mia Golam Parwar and Assistant Secretary General Maulana A.T.M. Masum, among others, were present on the occasion.
