Met office predicts dry weather over country

DHAKA, Feb 26, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted that weather may remain dry over the country for the next 24 four hours, beginning at 9am today.

Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, said a Met Office press release.

The Met Office said light fog may occur at places over the river basins of the country during late night to early morning.

Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, while a seasonal low remains over the South Bay.

The country's maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded 34.0 degrees Celsius at Cox's Bazar and minimum temperature today was recorded 11.3 degrees Celsius at Srimangal.

The sun sets today at 6.03pm and rises tomorrow at 06.23am in the capital.
