DHAKA, Feb 26, 2025 (BSS) - Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner S.M. Sazzat Ali in a statement today called upon all to use the ramp opposite to Mohakhali Bus Terminal while going towards Airport-Uttara using the elevated expressway during severe traffic on the road to the left of Love Road crossing.

"It is advised to use the ramp opposite to Mohakhali Bus Terminal and travel to Uttara/Airport via the elevated expressway, if there is heavy traffic on the road to the left of Love Road crossing (Tejgaon-Bijay Sarani Link Road)," the statement said.

Regarding the movement towards Uttara via the elevated expressway using the Mohakhali ramp, it is being observed that almost all vehicles from Dhaka South and East areas take a left turn from Tejgaon/Love Road crossing and enter the expressway via the elevated expressway ramp adjacent to the rail overpass of Tejgaon-Bijoy Sarani Link Road and go to the Airport, Kuril, Banani etc, it said.

"As a result, there is a huge pressure of vehicles on the Tejgaon-Bijoy Sarani Link Road," the statement said.

So, all drivers of vehicles going towards Uttara via Tejgaon-Love Road, it is being informed that from now on, all types of vehicles including private cars, microbuses, buses can use the Mohakhali ramp of the elevated expressway to move towards Airport-Uttara via the elevated expressway, it said.
