DHAKA, Feb 26, 2025 (BSS)- Bangladesh will observe the 'Protein Day' tomorrow aiming to create protein awareness and ensuring the right to protein for all. 

The 'Bangladesh Poultry Industries Central Council' (BPICC) and U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) will observe the day with the theme "Fueling South Asia: The Right Protein, The Right Way". 

On this occasion, BPICC organized a discussion at its Bashundhara office today. 

BPICC President Shamsul Arefin Khaled, Institute of Nutrition and Food Science of Dhaka University Professor Dr. Khaleda Islam, Regional Head of Corporate Affairs of U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) Deeba Giannoulis, Department of Poultry Science of Bangladesh Agricultural University Professor Dr. Md. Shawkat Ali, and Chief Nutritionist of BIRDEM Hospital Shamsunnahar Nahid Mohua, among others, spoke at the discussion.
