New PSC members to take oath Sunday

DHAKA, Feb 26, 2025 (BSS) – The newly appointed members of Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) will take oath on Sunday (March 2).

Chief Justice Dr Syed Refaat Ahmed will administer the oath at Judges Lounge of the Supreme Court, according to a BPSC official familiar with the development.

Talking to BSS, Public Relation Officer of BPSC SM Matiur Rahman said the appointed members of BPSC will take oath on Sunday (March 2).

They are- Professor of Dhaka University Dr Md Sharif Uddin, Dr Ferdous Arfina Osman, Professor of Bangladesh Agriculture University Dr. Shahnaz Sarkar, former Foreign Cadre Officer Sabbir Ahmed Chowdhury, former Health Cadre Officer ATM Farhad Uddin, Brig. Gen. (retd) Anwarul Islam and former Additional Inspector General of police Md Munir Hossain.

Earlier, the interim government on February 18 issued seven separate gazette notifications on the appointment of the BPSC members.
