Govt declares April 3 as general holiday

DHAKA, March 20, 2025 (BSS) - The government has announced the April 3, 2025 as a general holiday through an executive order aiming to ensure smooth journey of holiday makers during the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.

"To ensure smooth movement of the people on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr, an executive order has been declared a general holiday on April 3, 2025," the Chief Adviser's Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder said.
 
This decision was taken at a meeting of the council of advisers held at the Chief Adviser's Office (CAO) today.
