BRTC to provide “Eid Special Services” with 1,245 buses

DHAKA, March 20, 2025 (BSS) – The state-owned Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) will provide “Eid Special Services” with 1,245 buses.

The BRTC’s “Eid Special Service” will start from March 25 to make the journey of homebound passengers smoothen during the upcoming holy Eid-ul-Fitr, the greatest religious festival of the Muslims.

The BRTC started sale of advance bus tickets from today (Thursday) from BRTC depots in the capital. The return tickets will be available after Eid from any depot of the BRTC.

Talking to BSS, BRTC Public Relation Officer (PRO) Mustakim Bhuiyan said that the BRTC had prepared 775 buses for providing “Eid Special Services” from Dhaka under a special arrangement.

Besides, he said 470 buses will run outside the capital and all together 1,245 buses will provide the “Eid Special Services”.

Earlier, in a media statement the BRTC said that the “Eid Special Services” would be continued till April 5.

The BRTC Operations Department said that advance bus tickets will be available from Motijheel, Joarsahara, Kalyanpur, Gabtoli, Mohammadpur, Mirpur, Jatrabari, Gazipur and Narayanganj bus depots.
