DMP files 1,373 cases against traffic rule breakers

DHAKA, March 23, 2025 (BSS) - The traffic division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) filed 1,373 cases over traffic rule violations in the capital on Saturday.

The drives intended to ensure discipline on city streets, said a press release issued by DMP deputy commissioner (media and public relations) Muhammad Talebur Rahman today.

During the drives, 153 motor vehicles were dumped and 76 vehicles were wrecked, according to the DMP press release.

It added that such drives against traffic rule breakers will continue to ensure discipline on the streets and offer city dwellers smooth movement.
