Rain with temporary gusty wind forecasted in 8 divisions

 DHAKA, April 13, 2025 (BSS) - The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecasted rain with temporary gusty wind at some places in eight divisions for the next 120 hours commencing from 9am today.

In a statement, the BMD said, "Rain/thunder showers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions."

Mild heat wave is sweeping over the districts of Chattogram, Rangamati, Feni, Bandarban and Bagerhat and it may continue, while day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it said.
 
Country's maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded 31 degrees Celsius in Rangpur and Rajarhat and minimum temperature of today was recorded 19 degrees Celsius at Sayedpur and Tetulia.

The sun sets today at 06:20pm and rises at 05:38am tomorrow in the capital.
