Two held with 2,000 Yaba tablets in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, April 13, 2025 (BSS) - Members of Chattogram Metropolitan Police
(CMP) in a drive arrested two alleged drug traders with 2,000 pieces of
contraband yaba tablets at city's Kotwali upazila this morning.
 
The arrested were identified as Saddam Hossain, 34, and Mohammad Abdullah,
42, both hailed from Chokoria upazila of Cox's Bazar district.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of the Kotwali Thana police conducted a raid in
the area and nabbed them with the contraband drugs.

Police also detained a private car from their possession.

A case was lodged with Kotwali Thana in this connection.
