LAKSHMIPUR, June 22, 2025 (BSS) - Families of injured and martyred activists of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement (ADSM) today held a press conference in Laksmipur demanding the announcement of the July Declaration and the issuance of the July Charter.

The conference was organized at the Laksmipur Press Club under the banner of the July Fighters' Council.

Convener of the district ADSM committee Arman Hossain, chief organizer Saiful Islam Murad, injured activist Fahim and family members of martyred activist Bijoy were present in the press conference.

"The government had promised to release the July Declaration and Charter within this month. We believe in this promise," they said.

They urged the government to avoid delays and immediately announce the July Declaration and Charter.

Criticizing the existing constitution for fostering fascism under the Awami League, they warned that future governments could follow the same path.

They further demanded the arrest of pro-Awami League individuals involved in the movement.
