DHAKA, April 16, 2025 (BSS) - Rain or thunder showers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions with hails at isolated places said the Bangladesh Meteorological Department this noon.

"A trough of low lies over West Bengal and adjoining areas and seasonal low lies over South Bay", the met office bulletin released.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it said.

Today's sunset at Dhaka would be at 06:20 pm while tomorrow's sunrise here would be at 05:36 am.

The Met office recorded maximum temperature of today (Wednesday) as 35.8 degrees Celsius at Feni in Chattogram division while minimum temperature as 19.6 degrees Celsius at Tetulia under Rangpur division, said a release signed by meteorologist Dr Md Omar Faruq.
