DHAKA, April 17, 2025 (BSS) - The met office forecast light to moderate rain or thunder showers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty wind at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal Chattogram and Sylhet divisions today.

Besides, moderately heavy to heavy falls are expected at places over the country, according to a met office bulletin this morning.

However, the day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Rain may decrease and temperature may rise in next five days, weatherman AKM Nazmul Hoque predicted.

The highest temperature 36.5 degree Celsius was recorded in Sylhet on Wednesday and lowest temperature 19.0 degree Celsius has been recorded in Rangpur today.

The sun will set at 6:21pm today and will rise at 5:35am in Dhaka.
