US, Iran made 'very good progress' in nuclear talks: senior US official

WASHINGTON, April 20, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - The United States and Iran made "very good progress" Saturday in a second round of talks on Tehran's nuclear program, a senior US official said.

"Today, in Rome over four hours in our second round of talks, we made very good progress in our direct and indirect discussions," the official said, confirming Iran's statement that the two sides agreed to meet again next week.
