Nat'l Consensus Commission's 2nd meeting with BNP held

DHAKA, April 20, 2025 (BSS) – The 2nd day discussion between National Consensus Commission and Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) was held at LD Hall of the Parliament House here today.
 
They discussed the important recommendations of the five commissions aiming to create consensus on reforms, according to a press release of the National Consensus Commission.
  
Vice-Chairman of the National Consensus Commission Professor Dr Ali Riaz and commission members Dr Iftekharuzzaman, Badiul Alam Majumder and Safar Raj Hossain and special assistant (consensus building) to the chief adviser of the interim government Monir Haider were present on the occasion. 
 
A five-member BNP delegation, led by Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed, took part in the discussion. 
 
The other members included Standing Committee member Nazrul Islam Khan, BNP Chairperson's Adviser Md Ismail Jabihullah, Executive Committee member Barrister Ruhul Quddus Kajol and former secretary Abu Md Moniruzzaman Khan.
